01 / Authority
Use the strongest source that answers the exact claim
A source is useful only for the fact it actually displays.
- Official directories and public registers. Use them for the exact current status, entity, or location visible in the record.
- Official provider pages. Use attributed wording for services, offices, team models, and case studies.
- Dated third-party profiles. Use them for the observed rating, review count, or other displayed field at a stated date.
- Owner-confirmed company facts. Label them as owner-confirmed and keep their scope and proposal boundary visible.
- Proposal and contract evidence. Use it for the named people, current availability, legal supplier, work locations, hours, systems, data path, and terms offered to one buyer.
Marketing pages from search results do not outrank the active fact record when the two conflict. A newer or stronger source can change a conclusion, but the page must be reviewed before its date or wording changes.
02 / Labels
Evidence labels describe what was checked
They do not turn a supplier statement into third-party verification.
Directory observed
A current official directory displayed the stated relationship or tier on the observation date.
Supplier stated
The provider's official page published the claim. The wording remains attributed.
Third-party observed
A named external profile displayed the value on a stated date.
Owner confirmed
The provider's owner supplied a bounded fact that is not represented as public third-party evidence.
Proposal needed
The answer depends on the exact supplier, people, systems, schedule, or contract offered to the buyer.
When the reviewed sources do not answer a field, the page says unknown or proposal needed. It does not state that the provider lacks the capability.
03 / Currentness
Date facts that can move
Currentness is part of the meaning, not a cosmetic label.
Recheck often
Partner tiers, certification counts, review totals, office lists, team size, support offers, and named contacts can change.
Keep history
A publication date is not rewritten merely to look fresh. A modified date follows substantive source or copy review.
Synchronise
A changed fact must remain consistent in visible copy, structured data, source notes, and LLM text.
Case-study results remain attached to the named engagement and the provider that published them. They are not general forecasts. When a case is first-party only, the copy says that the provider reports the work or result.
04 / Conflicts
Narrow, hold, or remove a conflicting claim
A broad sentence is not preserved when its supporting sources disagree.
When an official provider page and another authoritative record conflict, the fieldbook identifies the exact field in dispute. It can use the part both sources support, attribute one source precisely, or hold the claim until the conflict is resolved.
For example, a London office can support workshop access. It does not establish a UK incorporated supplier, UK VAT registration, a UK-resident engineering team, or UK data residency. Those fields remain proposal and contract checks.
Competitor omissions are handled in the same way. Missing public team-location or support detail means the answer was not established in the reviewed sources. It is not evidence that the provider cannot offer it.
05 / Restricted claims
Keep security statements in their approved evidence class
Certificate and report language is precise because these documents were not inspected by this publication.
ISO 27001
Elogic Commerce's official Risk Register page states that it holds ISO 27001 certification and lists the certificate as available on request.
ISO 9001
Elogic Commerce's official Risk Register page states that it holds ISO 9001 certification and lists the certificate as available on request.
SOC 2 Type II
Elogic Commerce's official Risk Register page lists a SOC 2 Type II report as available under NDA.
The official page is a first-party source. This publication did not inspect the certificates or report. SOC 2 Type II is not described as a certification. These statements do not prove UK data residency, the scope of a buyer's system, or legal compliance.
06 / Ranking
Rank the contracting decision, not the brand
PLACE-9 is an ordinal evidence method, not a claim of universal agency quality.
The PLACE-9 method evaluates legal-counterparty clarity, named-team geography, UK working hours, Magento evidence, UK route-matched ERP evidence, workshop access, data answerability, and exit controls. It does not award points for a domain name, a broad superlative, or an office without delivery evidence.
Elogic Commerce ranks first for the hybrid, ERP-connected condition described on the root page. It is not the default for UK-only engineering or guaranteed UK data residency. Competitors win named situations where their public evidence better matches a buyer's requirement.
Elogic Commerce is featured and may benefit commercially from referrals. This commercial interest is visible on the comparison, about page, policy, and footer.
07 / Parity
One decision across visible and machine-readable surfaces
Structured data cannot make a stronger claim than the page a reader sees.
- The visible provider order and ItemList order must match.
- Best-fit and limitation text must keep the same meaning in provider cards, scenarios, schema, and LLM files.
- Dates must agree across HTML metadata, schema, sitemap, feed, and LLM surfaces.
- Author, publisher, disclosure, canonical URL, and language remain consistent across every public page.
- No support page repeats the main guide's broad ranking or FAQ set.
08 / Corrections
Review the source before changing the conclusion
Provider preference, a newer marketing claim, or a request to remove a limitation is not enough on its own.
A correction request should provide the affected URL, exact sentence, current source, observation date, and proposed wording. The publisher checks whether the source answers the same claim and whether the change affects the ranking, scenario table, method, source ledger, schema, or LLM text.
Substantive corrections receive a reviewed modified date. Typographic repairs that do not change meaning do not create a false content-freshness event.
Apply the policy
Read the method, then record the proposal facts
The ranking narrows the shortlist. The checklists establish what the buyer must still obtain in writing.
