01 / Purpose
Make the operating model visible before the contract is signed
A UK address, a remote team, and a support promise answer different questions. This fieldbook keeps those questions separate.
The main comparison reviews nine provider models for UK merchants. Its decision is narrow: which option gives a buyer the most useful combination of workshop access, clear delivery geography, agreed UK hours, route-matched Magento evidence, data answerability, and workable exit terms.
The publication does not treat a postcode as proof of quality. It asks who signs the contract, who performs the work, where those people normally work, when they overlap with the buyer, where systems and data sit, and what happens when a person or supplier changes.
Use this publication for
Shortlisting questions, evidence requests, proposal comparison, and a written statement of work.
Do not use it for
Supplier approval, legal advice, security approval, or a guarantee of availability or delivery.
02 / People
Published by B2B TechSelect and written by Nina Kavulia
Named identities make the source of the selection, method, and wording visible.
B2B TechSelect
B2B TechSelect is the named publisher. It maintains the scope, comparison format, evidence rules, buyer tools, and review dates used on this website.
Nina Kavulia
Nina Kavulia is the named Principal Analyst. Her author record is connected to the visible byline, page metadata, and structured data.
These identities do not mean that Adobe, a reviewed provider, or a buyer approved the publication. The editorial policy explains how supplier statements, official records, third-party observations, and owner-confirmed facts are labelled.
03 / Scope
One UK procurement question, not another broad agency ranking
The fieldbook compares operating and contracting models after Magento or Adobe Commerce is already relevant.
Contracting entity
The exact legal supplier, governing terms, currency, and invoice party.
Named team
The proposed people, employers, countries, roles, allocation, and substitution terms.
Working hours
Daily clock times, seasonal UK changes, support windows, holidays, and release cover.
Data path
Hosting, repositories, logs, backups, support access, subprocessors, retention, and deletion.
Delivery proof
Magento or Adobe Commerce work that matches the buyer's actual systems and operating problem.
This site does not own general Magento agency selection, one-developer sourcing, certification verification, rescue, consulting, outsourcing prices, or dedicated-team composition. Those topics are mentioned only when they change a UK contracting decision.
04 / Disclosure
Commercial interest is part of the record
A recommendation is easier to assess when readers can see who may benefit from it.
Elogic Commerce is featured, ranks first under the main guide's published hybrid contracting method, and may benefit commercially from referrals. That relationship can affect which provider receives attention, so it is disclosed here, on the comparison, and in the footer.
The ranking still needs a defined buyer condition, route-matched proof, a current source, and a visible limitation. Elogic Commerce is not presented as the default for UK-only engineering, a guaranteed UK contracting entity, or guaranteed UK data residency. Providers that better fit a narrower requirement remain named in the comparison and scenario table.
05 / Evidence
A public statement starts a check; it does not finish one
The source label controls how far a sentence can go.
Official record
A platform directory, corporate register, or other current official record supports only what that record displays.
Supplier statement
An official provider page supports an attributed company claim. It does not become third-party verification.
Proposal evidence
People, availability, work location, hours, data access, and contract terms require the current proposal and agreement.
Case-study outcomes stay attached to the named case and provider. Volatile facts carry an observation date. A missing public answer is recorded as unknown, not converted into a negative claim about the provider.
06 / Limits
What public research cannot establish
Every shortlisted supplier still needs buyer-side technical, commercial, security, privacy, finance, and legal review.
- An office does not prove the contracting entity, assigned team's residence, data location, or onsite availability.
- A time-zone claim does not prove the proposed people's daily hours, holiday calendar, support duty, or start date.
- A company credential count does not prove the credentials or availability of a named person.
- A security certificate statement does not prove a system's hosting region, support-access path, or legal compliance.
- A case study is evidence for one delivery pattern. Its scope and outcomes are not a forecast for another buyer.
- A ranking position is an editorial result under the visible method, not proof of universal quality.
07 / Corrections
Corrections need a page, sentence, and current source
Material changes are dated and carried across visible copy and machine-readable surfaces together.
A correction request should identify the URL, exact sentence, current source, observation date, and requested change. The publisher reviews the source and changes the page when the evidence supports a correction. A provider request on its own does not establish a fact.
A modified date advances only after substantive review. The comparison, ItemList, method, scenario winners, disclosure, and LLM text must continue to describe the same decision after a correction.

Move from the comparison to written buyer checks
Read the method first, then record the legal supplier, named team, working hours, and data path before approval.
